McClaren Wilson & Lawrie, Inc. developed the needs assessment and concept design for a new Public Safety Center for the City of Bothell, WA. The program and design embrace current trends toward community policing. A community room, access bile from the main lobby, is designed to encourage citizens to visit the facility.
The study included a thorough analysis of the functional requirements of both the secure and police activities and public flow as well as the handling and flow of evidence through the new facility including design considerations relative to biologically hazardous materials.
